Our parish is filled with vibrant groups of people who share a common mission. Take time to explore our many ministries!
Under Father Raj’s direction, procedures are being developed for each ministry to ensure consistency. The first ministry to have finalized procedures is the Usher Ministry. Procedures for other ministries will be forthcoming.

How to volunteer at Sacred Heart Church and School
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Sacred Heart! We are blessed to have a wonderful parish with twice the national average (by percentage) of parishioners who volunteer for our ministries. We greatly appreciate your willingness to offer your time and talents to serve.
There are some requirements to be aware of. To be a new volunteer at Sacred Heart you will need to to take a one-time, in-person, Safe Environment “Foundation” class. This is mandated by the Diocese of Phoenix. After you take this class, you will be asked to refresh your awareness once a year, though this can be done online and only takes about 20 minutes.
There are four in-person “Foundation” classes scheduled in 2019-20: September 10 @ 1:00 pm; November 14 @ 1:00 pm; January 23@ 1:00 pm. There is a Spanish Foundation Class on August 6 at 6:30 pm. All classes are held in the St. Anthony Claret Room. Please call the Parish Office to register: 928.445.3141
Finally, volunteers who plan to use their private vehicles to carry out church business in the Diocese of Phoenix must watch a video produced by Catholic Mutual, plus provide proof of insurance that meets the minimum insurance liability.
