The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization dedicated to serving the suffering and needy. The Society has two aims: to do a great deal of spiritual good to its members through the exercise of charity, and to do spiritual and temporal good to local Prescott families in the name of Jesus Christ.
Ministry volunteers help the community’s poor and suffering in time of need through personal contact. Ministers go two by two, carrying the love of Jesus and offering prayer and all kinds of material support. Training is done “on the job” with fellow Vincentians, nourished by prayer, reflection, and adherence to a basic rule.
The current president of the Prescott Society is Elmer Mosley. Our meetings are held every Wednesday at 9:15 am in the St. Anthony Claret Room at Sacred Heart Church. Feel free to join our meetings and or drop by/call our local office at 928.778.4595. The office is located at 120 N, Summit Avenue, Prescott, AZ 86301, across the street from Sacred Heart Catholic School.
