Mission Talks Overview:
Sunday, December 5 – 6:30-8PM – The Word of God is livingĀ and effective and continues to work in our lives. Advent teaches us to be open to this Word and fills us with the hope that it is still at work in our lives. The Scriptures, thus, lead us into prayer and deeper union with the Divine.
Monday, December 6 – 8:00 – 9:30 AM or 6:30-8:30PM (same presentation at each session) – Confident in the power of His Word, we renew our faith in the coming of this Word in the flesh: Jesus Christ. Our witness of His saving works and the mysteries of our redemption encourage us as we await His coming again in glory.
Tuesday December 7 – 8:00-9:30 AM or 6:30-8:30PM (following Vigil Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception) (same presentation each session) – Having heard His Word and seen its effect, we must respond by accepting or rejecting it. Mary and her “yes” becomes our model and we look to her as an example of meditating on and cooperating with God’s plan.
All sessions will be held in the Church and there is no cost to attend.
We hope to see you there!
